A relaxation appointment shaped around you
Pregnancy can change what feels comfortable from one week to the next. An appointment starts with a conversation about your wellbeing and what you would like from the session. We can discuss your comfort, the treatment approach and any questions before deciding how to proceed.
Reflexology uses gentle pressure on areas of the feet. Many people enjoy the quiet, hands-on nature of a session as time away from everyday demands. You do not need a particular symptom or a treatment plan to ask about an appointment for relaxation.
Discussing suitability before booking
Please mention that you are pregnant when you first enquire. I will arrange a conversation about the stage of your pregnancy, your wellbeing and any relevant advice from your maternity team. Keep detailed medical information out of the website form; we can discuss that directly.
If you have concerns about your pregnancy or whether a complementary treatment is appropriate for you, speak with your midwife or maternity team. Continue your antenatal appointments and follow their advice. An appointment with me does not replace assessment or care from a maternity professional.
What reflexology can and cannot offer
The purpose of the session is relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. I do not promise that reflexology will treat pregnancy complications, bring on labour or change birth outcomes. There is no guaranteed response to a session.
You can tell me if anything feels uncomfortable and ask to pause or stop. We can talk about the treatment and positioning before starting, rather than assuming the same approach will suit everyone.
Appointments in Bray and the surrounding area
My treatment room is in Bray, near Maidenhead, serving clients from Windsor and elsewhere in Berkshire. Home visits may be available by arrangement. If staying at home would suit you better, mention your area and preferred dates so I can check what is possible.

Please speak with Lisa first rather than assuming a particular stage is suitable. The conversation will cover your circumstances and any relevant advice from your maternity team.
Will reflexology induce labour?
Lisa does not offer reflexology as a way to induce labour or promise a change in birth outcomes. Speak to your maternity team about labour and birth-related questions.
Where are pregnancy appointments available?
Appointments are based in Bray near Maidenhead. You can also enquire about a home visit in the surrounding Berkshire area, subject to suitability and availability.
