Space to slow down
Reflexology for Stress and Anxiety
If you are looking into reflexology for stress and anxiety, you may simply want somewhere to pause. My appointments in Bray, near Maidenhead, offer quiet time for relaxation and wellbeing. Reflexology is not a treatment for an anxiety disorder, but some people enjoy it as part of their personal relaxation routine.

What a relaxation session feels like
During foot reflexology I apply gentle pressure to areas of your feet while you rest. You stay clothed, apart from taking off your shoes and socks. Before starting, we talk about your comfort and preferences, so you know what to expect rather than feeling you need to arrive with everything worked out.
You can let me know if you prefer quiet or have questions as we go. There is no requirement to reach a particular state of relaxation. If any pressure feels uncomfortable, tell me and we can adjust or stop.
Choosing time that fits your day
A first foot-reflexology appointment costs £50 and includes a 15-minute assessment and 50-minute treatment. This gives us time to talk before the hands-on part begins. Follow-up appointments cost £45 for one hour, including 55 minutes of treatment.
Facial reflexology and combined sessions offer other ways to take a break. The treatment menu includes a Stress Buster package combining foot, facial and auricular reflexology. The name describes a relaxation package, not a promise to resolve stress or anxiety. Check the menu for its current lengths and prices.
If you are unsure which to choose, ask about the options before booking. You do not need to sign up to regular sessions to try reflexology, and we can discuss what would fit your preferences and budget.
Keeping expectations realistic
People respond differently to reflexology. Some find the hands-on treatment and time away from everyday tasks relaxing. There is no guaranteed outcome, and I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
If anxiety is persistent or affecting daily life, speak with your GP or a qualified mental health professional about appropriate support. Reflexology should not delay that conversation or replace prescribed treatment, counselling or other care. My BSc in Psychology is part of my background; it does not mean this appointment is psychological therapy.
A quieter setting in Bray or at home
My treatment room is in Bray near Maidenhead, and I welcome clients from Windsor and surrounding areas. A visit can give you time away from the place where you work or look after others. Alternatively, you can ask about mobile reflexology if your home offers a quiet space and parking.
To enquire, share your preferred dates and whether you would like to visit Bray or arrange a home appointment. There is no need to explain private mental health information in the website form. We can discuss relevant information directly before treatment.
Your questions answered
Does reflexology treat anxiety?
Reflexology is offered for relaxation and wellbeing, not as treatment for an anxiety disorder. A GP or qualified mental health professional can help you explore care for anxiety.
Do I need to talk throughout the session?
We begin with a consultation, but you can tell Lisa if you would prefer quiet during treatment. You can still ask questions or ask for adjustments at any time.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number and no guaranteed result. You can discuss an individual appointment first, then decide whether you would like to return based on your own preferences.
Let’s find a time for you
