Choosing your first reflexology treatment
Foot reflexology is a starting point if you are new to treatments. It involves gentle pressure on areas of the feet, giving you time to rest while I work. You remain clothed apart from removing your shoes and socks. You do not need to know the names of techniques before getting in touch.
I also offer facial, cranial and auricular reflexology, along with Indian head massage and combined treatments. Tell me whether you would like a shorter introduction or a longer appointment and we can talk through the options. The treatments page gives the full menu and current prices.
What happens at the first appointment?
We start with a consultation about your wellbeing, relevant health information and what you would like from your time with me. This helps us discuss suitability and agree a comfortable approach. Please save detailed medical information for that conversation rather than putting it in the enquiry form.
For foot reflexology, a new-client appointment costs £50 and includes a 15-minute assessment plus a 50-minute treatment. A follow-up costs £45 for a one-hour appointment with 55 minutes of treatment. Other techniques have their own appointment lengths and prices.
Meet Lisa Wand, MAR
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and am a member of the Association of Reflexologists. My qualifications also include a BSc in Psychology and specialist reflexology training. You can read more about my background and approach on the What to Expect page.
My focus is a welcoming, personal appointment and space for relaxation. Reflexology is a complementary therapy, and is not a replacement for medical diagnosis or treatment.
